Parents of incoming 6th grade students (current 5th grade):
Entry point for Path 3 is the 5th to 6th grade transition. Families of eligible students are highly encouraged to attend a Parent Informational Meeting to understand the implications for high school programming and college competitiveness. If students meet the required placement criteria (see Presentation for full criteria description), pathway coursework begins with H Math 6/7 during the 6th grade year and continues with H Math PW3 ALG I during the 7th grade year and H Math Geometry during the 8th grade year.

• SBA Math 5 State Test | Standard Exceeded
• SBA Math 5 State Test | Standard Exceeded
• iReady 5th Grade End-of-Year Diagnostic | Above Grade Level 541+
• 5th Grade Final Report Card Math Mark | Composite 4

Entry point for Path 2 is the 6th to 7th grade transition. All students take the iReady Diagnostic at the close of the sixth grade year. If students meet the required placement criteria (see Presentation for full criteria description), pathway coursework begins with H Math 7/8 during the 7th grade year and continues with H Math PW2 ALG I during the 8th grade year. Placement Notifications will be sent electronically prior to orientation.
