Intervention Classes (Regular School Day)
W.I.N. (What I Need) Strategic "Between the Bells" Instruction and Intervention (Tier 2)
Strategic intervention courses may be offered to students who demonstrate a basic understanding of core content material, but need targeted intervention beyond that which occurs in core instruction. Students in strategic interventions need an “extra scoop of instruction”.
ELA Intervention: Academic Literacy
Instruction focuses on academic vocabulary, comprehension strategies, and writing. Taken in addition to the core English class, in place of their elective. The primary goal of the Academic Literacy course is to provide strategic instruction and intervention aligned to the grade level core English Language Arts (ELA) class. This course advances students' proficiency in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and thinking, which is currently measured by 2024-2025 SBAC ELA scores in combination with 23-24 English course academic mark and iReady Diagnostic data.

Math Intervention: Math Tutorial Lab

Strategic intervention courses are offered to students who demonstrate a basic understanding of core content material, but need targeted (Tier2) intervention beyond that which occurs in core instruction. This course intends to advance students' mastery in CC Math, currently measured by 2024-25 SBAC MATH scores in combination with 23-24 mathematics course academic mark and iReady Diagnostic data.
